Hi all, wow like after a million years, our class blog is activated again HAHA. anyway i know some of you may have problems finding what to wear. no stress okay? just wear something that YOU THINK represent a clown.

ANY COLOR SERIOUSLY AS LONG AS IT WILL LOOK BRIGHT AND COLORFUL.

let me show you what I will be wearing tomorrow..

YES THIS IS WHAT I WILL BE WEARING :)

Humairah & Shannon will also be wearing d exact dark blue-white stripes skirt as me! But with their own bright-colored top!

and.. aishah will be wearing green-white stripes with purple stockings!

and... syairah will be wearing orange-pink-white (stripes!) tanktop with purple stockings!

(i know what they will be wearing because we went to shop together just now!)

and... if i'm not wrong, aliah will be dressed something like a gypsy! she'll wear red stockings! (syai told me haha)

so hmm kinda get a rough idea how i want all of us to look like? bottomline is, if you think your colors do not match, it's okay! really okay! let the colors clash! if ur not comfortable with it, then brg it to school then change........ because our theme is circus and it's clown-ish and it's ridiculous and funny! okie? can mah?

and as promised, i mentioned that i would be getting clown accessories for all of you (& me) to beautify yourselves as a clown. so here they are..

i have 3 sets of this - funny specs and clown nose Just 2 of these cute rabbit hairbands
11 different bow ties (d rest with Humairah & Hui Hui)

- Renaa has reserved d big SILVER bow tie ;-)

1 pair of this stripes colorful socks

(Diana has reserved this!) I also have exactly same stripes colorful hand socks as this above picture which Alwin has reserved it!

I also have these clown-face hats (put it over ur head) Besides these hats, I also have really colorful party hats. (They're with Aishah now) 4 of them are pink hearts-printed on d hat and another 3 are colorful circles on a black background hat! so in total, i have 19 different kinds of clown hats that you can choose from!

On top of all these, Hui Hui has got a lot of other clown accessories as well. She has...

6 CLOWN HAIR (supervisor, senior teachers & alwin will be wearing it!)

4 SUSPENDERS (Reserved for Jamie & Amelia Tan!)

Okay, if you really have no bright colors top, fret not, just wear a plain white tee/ plain colored tee (any color as long as it's NOT black/brown/ any dark colored).

I have cut circles! many of them! i've pasted double sided tape on d other side, and u can make use of these to paste on your plain white shirts. it'll look colorful and yes, you're on d right track with our theme!

Alright one very last thing.. These are some clothes that I have which I think could be worn tomorrow as well.. tell me if you want to borrow! it's clean no worries!!

HELLO ALL! I hope you guys are enjoying the free time now :))) Treasure it before we get busy again!

Since it's the holidays already, I am planning for a simple gathering for all and I say, visiting Ms Sue's newborn baby!! :)) I have already asked Ms Sue and she welcome us all. Main idea for the visit is of course, see her baby girl and also a break fast together for the malay girls :)

But no worries to non-malays, we don't outcast you guys ok! We invite you guys too :) Ms Sue does not mind the non-malays to come over her house too. But one condition: You guys are encouraged to not eat or drink in front of us (d Malays) as to show respect to us who are fasting! It's fair to us, yea?

So far, the people who are confirmed going will be FARHANA, HUMAIRAH, SYAIRAH and DIANA. waiting for aishah's and sharini's responses too.

Day: Tuesday (17th August 2010)

Time: Tentatively around 5pm till night (not too late)

Place: Meet at Yishun Mrt and we'll make our way together to Ms Sue's house!

Simply said, the meal we gonna have at Ms Sue's house will be dinner cum break fast for d Malays. So, Ms Sue requests for a Potluck food! Meaning, we bring our own food to share with the rest and there goes without saying, all food has to be HALAL :)

We have come so far now!

With all the assignments, reports and presentations are all done, we are just left with the final lap which is.. EXAMS :)

Week 2 just passed. Weekend's going to be over, and soon we have to go for our attachment from 8 to 12pm. For some of us, we dread going to attachment. For some of us, we feel excited. Nevertheless, try to enjoy yourself yeah?

here's some update for the class test. I will put it here for reminders.

Test 1: (This is an E-learning week. Classes for all other modules should be online)
Date: 25 May (Monday) 26 May (Tuesday)
Time: 10-11 am 9.20 am - 10.30 am
Venue: LT 20

10:30-11:20 am: Break and students can walk to LT 45 for Financial Management Test.
11.30 am: Start of Financial Management Test at LT 45 until 1 pm.

It will be a 1 and a half hour paper, assessing you on the topics covered in the first 4 sessions, which will account for 25%.

TERM BREAK IS FINALLY HERE! :)

Yeah yeah I know there are still assignments need to be done.. Yeah yeah but still, we deserve an ample rest, don't we? We've been stressing ourselves out these few weeks for LAECY, FP and GISP, right? We deserve a standing ovation to applaud our hardwork :)

For those who will be working (including myself), don't tire yourself out so much. Chill and easy, okay? For those who are just going to slack (and do assignments, of course!), happy relaxing to you! And for those who are going for a holiday with family like Humairah and oh, those who have gone for a holiday like Amelia Tan, HAVE A GREAT TIME! Don't miss us too much, okay?

And, the Birthday cake and Christmas Log cake were so delicious :) We had a great time eating, taking pictures and oh, this I must mention, Alwin had a good time sabo-ing Sharini in the girls toilet too! That scenario was the highlight of the day! Too bad no picture taken for that. But no worries, photographers for the day (Kerin and Shannon), will upload their pictures, I hope? And not forgetting, I think we had fun exchanging Christmas gifts too! Some expected who were their Angels while some others were just SURPRISED! Christmas gifts!

Hi hi!

Sharini and Grace have come up with a fabulous idea today.

Since Christmas is exactly in one month's time, they have suggested that we should exchange gifts to each other! But of course we won't present the Christmas gifts on 25th December itself because it's already the holidays and you and you and you and me would have our own plans!

Soooo, most probably NEXT WEEK, our dear Class Rep Grace will pass around a bottle full of our names. Each of us just have to pick one name from the bottle. You are NOT supposed to tell others whose name you have picked. And please please to get the game going, don't you go around asking who got your name!

Alright, now that you have picked a name amongst us, you have to surprise him/ her with a gift. And we have decided to just buy something cheap (below $10). Or, if you know what he/ she wants for Christmas gift, why not? Go and surprise him/ her with it!

Sooooo, do you get the idea here? Main purpose is to surprise ourselves with gifts and keep mum of whose name that you've picked. And perhaps, include a cute little note with the gift to say how much you glad to have him/ her as a classmate. You do, don't you? :)

Any objections or better idea, please raise them to our Class Rep Grace alright?

There is this competition called SHOT TO FAME. This competition is kinda like a talent time competition. There are 3 different catergories: singing, dancing or a band.
I wanna invite u gals to come join. There are training sessions and auditions that will follow up after u register. Its totally free and there are prizes to by won. There are also teachers from SUPERBAND to come train ur vocals, dance and playing of instrument.

Okay now, something which you peeps have been looking forward too rite? ( well, at least, i hope. ) haha (: CLASS CHALET ! whoo~ we'll make it a great one yes? and i believe this bonding session will bring our class even closer tgt (: okay, now for the details:

Date: 25th - 27th Aug ( mon till wed )
Venue: Aloha Loyang ( pasir ris area )
Price: $10 each for the chalet

How to get there:
Take train to Pasir Ris MRT station.
Then Shuttle bus from Pasir ris

Pick-up / Drop-off points :
Pasir Ris MRT : Taxi stand facing the main road (near Mac Donald's)

aloha loyang : Outside the Reception Office

2nd way, Walk ( but i dont knw how )
3rd way, cab ! haha (:

It's a very sad video, indeed. It sure does give an impact on us.
This video will also be played at the booth that'll be set up tmrw at the Atrium.
So tell your friends about the donation drive which we'll be doing on tmrw or Friday and invite them to donate generously for this unfortunate people in Myanmar.
The slogan for this donation drive is "A dollar per person" =)

For those who have volunteered, either Thursday or Friday, do wear a YELLOW top or any HMS related shirt. In fact, it's encouraged that all HMS students to wear a YELLOW top to show support on this event.

Hey lovely 1A02, as some of you are aware, just now, I attended the important meeting for some donation drive. So here I'm gonna explain it to you. (& I hope there're at least someone who comes and read this)

In conjunction with the recent catastrophe outbreak in Myanmar, School of Humanities has come out with an intelligent iniative in collecting funds.
All these funds will be directed to the Salvation Army which will then be used to aid the unfortunate people who are affected in the Myanmar disaster outbreak.

Therefore, I need volunteers who are really sincere to help in the collecting of funds.
This activity will take place on this coming Thursday(15th May) and Friday(16th May) around the NP campus. We will have to go to the Atrium where a booth will be set up there and we'll be given a tin. Well, in easier words, you'll be going around the school asking donations like during our secondary school days when we did "Flag Day" for CIP hours.

You can either choose to do on Thursday or Friday and it's only ONE hour.
For Thursday, we can do after 1pm.
& Friday, we can go after FP, before our FNENG class starts.

So, I'm urging people from 1A02, to volunteer with me & Samantha(?).

I'm also supposed to show all of you a 4 to 5 minutes video regarding this which I'll do so, hopefully, tomorrow in Winnie's class.
So yeah, I'll explain more to all of you tomorrow.

Hello 1A02! Farhana here!
Wow, like finally, I got this blog done!
Not so difficult actually, I got this layout from blogskins.com
HAHA! It's better than nothing, right?
I'll add more items in days to come :)

As for the pictures above, there are actually more to it.
I could only upload those few as I couldn't upload anymore for God-knows-why!
However, we can get the rest of the many photos from 1A02's photobucket.
You can get the username and password by me or Kerin or the rest who were on MSN on Monday's night.
So yeah, grab all those photos that you want!

Next, I would like to thank all of you for showing your enthusiasm of wearing pink or red today. It was very wonderful and I'm sure all of us felt the unity! Didn't we? =)
Let's make a practice of once a week of wearing the same color top! How's that? Comment at the tagboard please!
Colors to choose: BLUE/ WHITE/ YELLOW (We'll consider these 3 colors first)
We'll decide on the COLOR on Thursday, so voice out your suggestions NOW! Hehehhh.
